Terms of use

Who we are and agreement to these terms
PhysioGlobe is operated by Petros Petrou, an individual based in the United Kingdom ("PhysioGlobe", "we", "us" or "our"). You can contact us at petrosp1999@hotmail.com.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using PhysioGlobe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What PhysioGlobe is
PhysioGlobe is an educational and continuing professional development tool for musculoskeletal physiotherapists and physiotherapy students. It provides condition summaries, assessment technique references, exercise information, practice questions, clinical reasoning cases, and a record of your study activity.
It is a learning aid. It is not a clinical decision support system, not a medical device, and not a substitute for your own assessment, clinical reasoning, or professional judgement.
Clinical content and your professional responsibility
Content is provided for general education only. Although we aim to use reputable sources and widely accepted musculoskeletal practice, clinical knowledge changes and content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. It is not a clinical guideline and has not been endorsed by any professional or regulatory body.
Content is labelled within the app as either draft or clinically reviewed, with the date shown. Draft content has been written but not verified by a qualified clinician. You should treat all content accordingly.
Diagnostic accuracy figures such as sensitivity and specificity are representative values drawn from commonly cited literature. Published estimates vary considerably between studies. Clinical utility scores are a judgement-based composite and are not a published metric.
PhysioGlobe does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, provide emergency guidance, or create a clinician-patient relationship. You remain professionally and legally responsible for every clinical decision you make. If you are a registered clinician, your own regulator, employer policies, applicable law, and scope of practice govern your work. Always assess the individual patient and check current local and national guidance before content informs patient care.
CPD records
The app records time spent in its sections and produces a summary you may export. This is a supporting record of self-directed learning generated automatically from in-app activity. It is not a certified statement of hours and is not endorsed by any regulator.
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of anything you submit as evidence of your continuing professional development.
Learning rewards and digital collectibles
My Clinic is an optional cosmetic collection. You receive one starter key at Level 1 and one additional key for each new learning level. Previously reached levels count. Keys are earned from learning progress: they cannot be purchased, are not bundled with Pro, and Pro does not change opening odds or apply a key or XP multiplier.
Opening a globe consumes one key and randomly selects a rarity: Common 55%, Rare 28%, Epic 12%, Legendary 4%, Mythic 1%. These chances are shown before opening. Within the selected rarity, uncollected items are equally likely; after every item in that rarity is collected, any item in that rarity is equally likely and repeats add another copy. There is no guarantee of a particular rarity after any number of openings. “Mythic” describes the highest rarity, not a one-of-a-kind item.
Keys and collectibles are digital, non-transferable and have no monetary or resale value. They cannot be sold, traded, exchanged for cash, physical equipment, subscriptions or other real-world benefits. They do not affect clinical content, CPD time, qualifications or professional competence.
A completed opening is saved to your account before its result is displayed. Retrying the same opening after a connection failure retrieves its saved result without consuming another key. Key balances, collections and your featured item sync while signed in; opening or changing the collection requires a connection.
Deleting your account permanently deletes your keys, collection and opening records. If we materially change or discontinue the rewards feature, we will provide appropriate notice, explain the effect on existing collections and respect applicable consumer rights. No provision in this section removes your mandatory legal rights.
Patient information
Do not enter patient-identifiable, confidential, or special-category information into the app. When naming a saved exercise handout, use a non-identifying internal reference rather than a patient name, initials combined with other identifying details, or a medical record number.
The app is not a clinical record system and must not be used to store patient records.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account or use PhysioGlobe. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms where required by law.
You must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are for individual use and must not be shared.
You may delete your account and associated account data from the Profile section. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been materially breached, the service is being misused, or this is necessary to protect users or the service.
Subscriptions, trials, cancellation, and refunds
PhysioGlobe may offer monthly and annual Pro subscriptions. The price, currency, billing period, and any introductory trial are shown by the Apple App Store or Google Play before you confirm a purchase. Offers and trial eligibility may vary by account, platform, and territory.
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Unless the store screen says otherwise, a subscription automatically renews for the same billing period until cancelled. If a trial converts to a paid subscription, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your PhysioGlobe account does not by itself cancel a store subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, subject to the applicable store rules.
Purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under the rules of the store through which you subscribed. PhysioGlobe does not process card details or provide a separate refund scheme. Nothing in these terms affects any refund or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can use Restore Purchases to ask the relevant store and RevenueCat to restore an eligible active entitlement.
3D anatomy: educational scope and limitations
The anatomy explorer provides selected 3D musculoskeletal models and teaching summaries. It is not a complete anatomical atlas, a representation of any particular patient, or a validated measurement, diagnostic, procedural or treatment-planning tool. Individual anatomy varies; structures, attachments and relationships may be simplified or omitted.
The adapted models and teaching summaries have not undergone independent clinical review. Greek clinical translations are AI-assisted drafts pending review. Check information against authoritative references and use your own professional judgement; do not rely on these models to make patient-specific decisions.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or systematically extract its content, evade subscription controls, reverse engineer the app except where law expressly permits it, or use it for unlawful purposes.
PhysioGlobe and its original app content, design, and software are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own learning and professional development.
Research abstracts, citations, external articles, app-store services, and third-party names or materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and terms.
Open-licensed materials are an exception to the restrictions above. Nothing in these terms limits copying, adaptation, redistribution, commercial use or other rights granted by the applicable open licence. Where these terms conflict with that licence for those materials, the open licence controls. This exception does not itself license the rest of the app under Creative Commons.
Anatomy model credits and open licences
The anatomy assets derive from BodyParts3D (The Database Center for Life Science, CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan) and Z-Anatomy (CC BY-SA 4.0), via the credited source exports. The adapted model files are provided under CC BY-SA 4.0, retaining the upstream attribution and licence notices. Consult the applicable licence for its full conditions, including attribution, indication of changes and share-alike requirements when sharing adaptations. No endorsement by the source creators is implied.
Open Learn → Anatomy, choose a region and expand the model credits to view attribution, source links, changes and coverage limitations, read LICENSE.md and download the exact adapted model files. Those notices form part of the model attribution and should accompany reuse as required by the applicable licence. Source credits and licence links are also provided below.
External services
The app relies on services provided by Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple or Google for store purchases, Resend for email, and the US National Library of Medicine for PubMed results. Their services may be unavailable or changed independently of us.
Links may take you to external websites. We do not control their content, security, availability, or privacy practices.
Your account data
You retain ownership of information you enter into your account. You give us a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that information only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve PhysioGlobe in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account and associated PhysioGlobe account data from the app. Subscription and transaction records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may be retained separately under their legal obligations and policies.
Communications
We may send service communications needed to operate your account, such as authentication or purchase-related messages. Optional resource emails are sent only when you have enabled them and can be disabled in your preferences.
If you enable a daily reminder, the app asks for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally on your device. You can disable reminders in the app or in your device settings.
Availability and changes
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every feature will remain available, or that external research and store services will always operate.
We may update the app and these terms. If a change is material, we will provide appropriate notice and may ask you to accept the revised terms before continuing to use the service.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the previous paragraph and to the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for clinical decisions, patient outcomes, loss caused by reliance on educational content, loss of data that could reasonably have been backed up or exported, external-service failures, or indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights and remedies under applicable consumer law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Questions about these terms can be sent to Petros Petrou at petrosp1999@hotmail.com.
